WINNER of the 2013 Melbourne Airport’s “Organisation Customer Service Achievement Award”

Airport Retail Enterprises has won Melbourne Airport’s highest award for customer service provided by a company on 2013 Melbourne Airport’s “Organisation Customer Service Achievement Award”the Airport.

Out of the 45 companies, ARE won 1 of two company awards presented at the Crown Casino on 17th June 2013 -  the “Organisation Customer Service Achievement Award”.

As presented by Melbourne Airport CEO – Chris Woodruff:

“The Melbourne Airport Customer Service Awards aim to identify and reward individuals, teams and organisations from across the airport where outstanding service has been delivered, reflecting the values and service promise contained within the Melbourne Airport Customer Service Charter. The Charter provides a common focus for all airport-based organisations and staff in pursuing our goal to provide a world class airport experience for the travelling public.

Airport Retail Enterprises (ARE) look after a suite of Food and Beverage outlets in Terminal Two at Melbourne Airport. Café Vue, Café Vue Express and Bar Pulpo by Movida are brought to us by acclaimed Melbourne Chefs, Shannon Bennett and Frank Camorra.

Other outlets include Wok on Air, a noodle/sushi offering catering to our burgeoning Chinese market here in Melbourne and finally, Hungry Jacks’s, the first ever Hungry Jack’s outlet Airside at an Australian Airport. 

Our Customer Service Charter talks about a world class customer experience and providing service of the highest quality. Of all the customer feedback we’ve received in relation to food and beverage at Melbourne Airport the most common reference to high quality and a great experience has been in relation to the ARE venues.

There’s no doubt that AREs commitment and dedication to excellence has created a fine dining experience within Melbourne Airport that is unmatched at other Australian airports and truly sets us apart in this regard.

ARE have recently initiated some great relationships with some of our airline customers that has seen this fine dining and quality airport experience extended even further into Airline Lounges for our business and first class passengers.

In 2012/13, Airport Retail Enterprises were the recipients of 7 awards relating to mystery shopping for the provision of outstanding customer service.”
