The Sydney Airport MoVida located at T2’s main retail concourse marks the sixth venue for this highly celebrated Spanish brand. The restaurant will serve a selection of its renowned Spanish tapas and raciones designed to share, as well as breakfast, pastries, sandwiches and bocadillos (Spanish sandwiches). Well-known MoVida favourites on the menu will include ‘Bomba’, a Catalan potato and chorizo dish; ‘Carrillera de Buey’, slow braised beef cheek in Pedro Ximenez on cauliflower puree; and Jamon and Manchego Bocadillo. The interior design references each of the various venues with MoVida staples such as solid Blackwood bar tops, chunky steel footrests, terracotta tiles and rustic steelwork stamping MoVida’s popular laneway heritage in the space. The venue also features eye-catching LED scrolling signage over the bar and a large TV screen. The primary ingredient of the MoVida experience is fine dining in an enjoyable and relaxed setting. MoVida Owner and Head Chef, Frank Camorra brings another element to the theatre of eating out for customers, and passengers will be greeted to a hearty ‘Hola!’ in a warm, intimate space, just like a traditional Spanish tapas bar. MoVida at T2 will be open daily from 6am to 9pm serving premium Vittoria coffee and a large selection of local & imported beers and Spanish & Australian wines (most by the glass). MOVIDA IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED AND WILL BE RELOCATED VERY SOON. |
